Frequently asked questions

Answers to the questions we hear most often. Something else? Call us on +41 21 356 88 88.

Are you accepting new patients?

Yes, Centre Médical Dorigny is welcoming new patients. You can book online via OneDoc or by phone on +41 21 356 88 88.

How do I book an appointment?

Two options: online via OneDoc, choosing your doctor from our Doctors & booking page, or by phone on +41 21 356 88 88 during opening hours.

Can I come without an appointment?

The centre works by appointment. If you need to be seen quickly, call us — we do our best to offer you a slot as soon as possible.

What should I do in an emergency?

In a life-threatening emergency, call 144 immediately. For a non-vital emergency outside our opening hours, call the canton of Vaud on-call doctors line (CTMG) on 0848 133 133, available 24/7. During opening hours, call us directly on +41 21 356 88 88.

Are consultations covered by insurance?

Yes, consultations are covered by Swiss compulsory health insurance (LAMal). Our doctors are affiliated with most insurance models — in particular the Réseau Delta, the largest family-doctor network in French-speaking Switzerland. Unsure about your insurance model? Contact us and we will gladly confirm it for you.

How do I cancel or reschedule?

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice, by phone on +41 21 356 88 88 or via OneDoc, so the slot can be offered to another patient. Appointments cancelled less than 24 hours in advance, or missed, may be charged.

Do you offer teleconsultations?

No, all consultations take place at the practice. This allows us, when needed, to carry out examinations and blood tests directly during your visit.

What should I bring to my first visit?

Your health insurance card, a form of ID and, if you have them, your latest test results, prescriptions and a list of your current medication.

Do I need to fast before a blood test?

It depends on the tests requested. Your doctor will tell you if fasting is needed. If in doubt, call us before coming.

Do you speak English?

Yes, our doctors consult in English and French.

Didn't find your answer?

Our reception team will be happy to help during opening hours.
